On this small country estate about 100 meter from the famous Termen of San Filippo are the houses La Ninfea and Il Murettino.
Behind the main house are two free standing ones which are both for rent again this year. La Ninfea is situated on a large country estateof about 6 hectare. Surrounded by terraces and olive trees. Both properties have their own private terrace. Only the natural swimming pool 8x5 has to be shared. This pool has a well so you swim early in the spring and late in the autumn. When you drive into the estate you are immediately surrounded by the peace and quiet of the place and can forget about your daily busy life style.
The owners of La Ninfea are Signore Lino, an architect, and his wife Ornella. They have renovated the house beautifully and named it after the water lilley; La Ninfea. At the entrance is a nice terrace with the barbecue waiting to be used. When you enter the house you'll notice the typical Tuscan ceilings with beams and the wooden floors. With the antique furniture and kitchen you'll get the feeling from days gone by. The bedroom is in the same style. La Ninfea has central heating. Bagno di San Filippo is known for its sulphur springs and peaceful surroundings. It lies in the beautiful Orcia Valley. There is a small but good pizziria. You can do your shopping in the villages around you which are all a few kilometres away. Behind the 'Termenbath' in the village lies a beautiful footpath which leads to the sulpher springs. You can take a bath there for free. La Ninfea is a special place for people looking for some peace and romance.
