This large farmhouse is something special. The owner has carried out a very careful renovation and successfully restored it to it’s original state. Most of the handmade floor tiles where still there as where the roof beams. Most rooms have their original doors with fine old locks, the original holes for doves to enter above the main door are now glazed blue.
50m from the house is a cave ideal for escaping the summer heat. In front is an ancient oak, and around 150m in the other direction are more caves for exploring. Saturnia (hot springs) and Pitigliano for shopping are both about 15km away. Farm produce can be purchased from the neighrbours, about 200m as the crow flies.
From the entrance of the house a lovely stone stair leads to the first floor with four large bedrooms, 3 have double beds the other twin singles, although there is also space for two additional beds. On this floor is also a bathroom. On the ground floor is a large comfortable living room/kitchen with hearth, SAT-TV and access to the garden, a diningroom also with frech windows and through an arch the lounge. Off here is a second bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and washingmachine, in front of the house is a lawn with furniture, peace and nature.
