A classical Tuscan stone house, at the end of a lane in the fresh highland air and complete seclusion, although the border of Montelaterone is only 300 yards away. The views are impressive, a panorama of hills, small holdings, villages clustered around castles, and avenues of cypresses, and groves of sweet chestnuts and olives.
The house is as surprising as the landscape, homely and welcoming. Before the door is a roofed, furnished terrace. The comfortable livingroom has a fireplace and double sofabed, and, although rarely used, satellite TV, wood beamed ceiling and tiled floor. Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with double bed and bathroom with shower. A spiral staircase leads upstairs to a second bedroom with twin beds, and large openplan kitchen/diner, with 2 large french windows. Old Tuscan furniture, built in kitchen with dishwasher and a fine collection of old items. A second shower room. Behind the house in a small annexe is a washingmachine, and iron. We highly recommend this house for a genuine taste of Tuscany and a relaxing holiday.
