La Capanna di Basciano
La Capanna di Basciano is a charming restored barn in a delightful setting near the tiny borgo of Basciano, not far from the well known village of Monteriggioni. This attractive stone barn is on two levels and it consists of a living room with fireplace and kitchen corner (oven, cooker, fridge); one shower bathroom with washing machine on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a double bedroom, one single bedroom (French bed) and a shower bathroom. A double sofa bed is available in the living room. The house is surrounded by a pleasant garden, furnished with table and chairs for dining out. A French door from the single bedroom leads to the garden. This cottage has been restored retaining the original features, like exposed beams and brickwork, refurbished and equipped with attention to details, with modern kitchen and fresh, modern furnishings complete the pleasant, relaxing environment. La Capanna di Basciano lies on the small road leading to the borgo of Basciano and enjoys splendid views across the rolling hills towards San Gimignano. This property is extremely well placed for visiting the lovely region. Siena, Firenze, the Chianti area and San Gimignano are within easy reach.
The price include: the use of the apartments with domestic appliances, water, gas, electricity, linen changed weekly and final cleaning.
To pay on the premises: in winter central heating upon use (1 Euro per cubic meter). Extra bed: 36 € per week. Baby cot available for free – linen not provided.
Pets allowed: no extra charge . Barbecue.
FROM THE 1 ST OF MARCH 2012 THERE WILL BE A LOCAL TOURIST TAX. EVERY PERSON PAYS € 1,50 PER NIGHT WITH A MAX OF 3 NIGHTS. CHILDREN UNDERNEATH 12 ARE FREE.
