Three comfortable, completely independent apartments in an ancient 16th century villa and its outbuildings, all of which have been entirely renovated and divided into 11 apartments, just north of Florence. Dominating and peaceful position with pretty views of the countryside at only a short distance from the town of Dicomano and in the middle of a 60ha farm where there is cattle rearing and wine and olive oil are produced. The apartments face a pleasant shared garden/terrace with a fountain, the center of the "hamlet". Access to the property along 500m of unpaved road. Simple, but complete furnishings. Central heating. Telephone through a switchboard and satellite TV in the living room of each apartment.
Distances: Dicomano with all kinds of shops and tennis courts 2km, horse riding 3km, Vicchio di Mugello (Giotto's place of birth) 8.5km, golf (18 holes) 22km, Lake of Bilancino (beaches) 27km, Florence 36km, San Gimignano 97km, Siena 106km, Lucca 109km, Vagliagli with ABV headquarters 110km, Pisa 115km, Viareggio and the beaches of the Versilia coast 135km, Rome 315km.
At guests’ disposal: swimming pool (8m x 16m, depth 1.40m, open 25/04 - 03/10) with a large sun terrace and shower (cold water), small bar (open in July and August), table-tennis. Lounge with fireplace. Laundry room (free use), five mountain bikes. Covered parking on premises. Please request when booking: baby bed (included in the price). It is possible to purchase local and farm products, tasting/samplings. Nearby, lakes for sport fishing.
Ground floor: small living room (2 armchairs) with dining area with satellite TV, sofa bed (single bed), small cooking area (140lt fridge) and access to the terrace; large double bedroom with a third bed and en suite bathroom with shower (window), double bedroom, bathroom with shower (window). Small, private, covered terrace (4m²) with table, chairs and ancient wood burning oven.
In the period 26 June -25 September we only accept weekly bookings from Saturday to Saturday. Outside this period stays of 3 or more nights or 7 or more nights may also be booked, with the arrival on a day other than Saturday. Ask after the possibilities.
