Siena is one of the most beautiful town in Tuscany, a flourishing city, a prestigious University town and culture centre, but the historic centre has remained as beautiful as it was in the past. The central feature of the old town is the Piazza del Campo, a scallop-shaped square dominated by the massive façade of the Town Hall with its tower named Torre del Mangia. Two times a year, on the 2nd of July and on the 16th of August in the Piazza del Campo is taken the Palio, one of the most spectacular bareback horse race in the world. A fantastic opportunity to get your own private house in Siena, in a newly restored barn, completely independent surrounded by a fenced private garden, located in a beautiful residential area of Siena, walking distance to the city centre. The house is on the ground floor and it consists of a kitchen (4 rings cooker, oven, fridge with freezer and dishwasher) with a French door leading to the garden, furnished with table and chairs for dining out and deckchairs; a living room with fire place and sofa bed (French bed); one double bedroom (queen size bed) and a bathroom with shower. A warm atmosphere inside is accentuated by the parquet wood flooring and a perfect mix of antics and modern furnishings. The house is welcoming and well equipped with laundry room with washing machine, satellite tv, private car parking and all the windows have mosquitoes nets. All the Siena’s sites are within walking distance and the well known main square Piazza del Campo is just a short stroll away. The Municipality of Siena decided to introduce the local tax for tourists for the first 6 nights of stay of each month. The price is 2€ per person per night from 01/03 until 31/10, and 1€ per person per night from 01/11 until 28/02. Children under 12 are not included.
