“Casali in Val di Chio”, is situated in the Valley of Chio, a small uncontaminated valley in the heart of Tuscany in the Medival town of Castiglion Fiorentino. Here, the strong ties to tradition have helped preserve the beauty of the
territory.
Our Agricultural Firm is composed of three “Casali”, groupings of farm houses spread out in the hills off the valley and our Reception hub centrally located at the original farm homestead of the family. Today not only does it serve as a place to great our guest but it also houses our wine cellar, and packaging laboratory for our products; wine and olive oil.
The “Casali”, Villa La Guardata, Borgo S. Stefano, Borgo Gaggioleto and Villa S. Martino, have proudly kept the
original names given to them when construction began in the XIII century. Restructured with all respect to their original characteristics, these charming and tastefully furnished “Casali” offer our guests the possibility of relaxing in
the beautiful pool side gardens while enjoying the marvellous views that surrounds them.
La Guardata
Villa La Guardata sits on a hill covered by an olive grove at 350 meters above sea level in a panoramic position
showcasing the town of Castiglion Fiorentino which is only 2 km away. This imposing stone structure was built in the 1700 on top of a military outpost at the feet of the D’Ernia Castle by a noble family who used it as a country home. In 1996, it was restructured and while preserving the exterior of the original building, the interior was divided into two independent apartments. The beautiful swimming pool is 10 m x 5 m and is surrounded by a cured garden with a Mediterranean essence.
While La Guardata can be rented out as individual units, it can also be requested as a single villa for a large family
sleeping up to 10 people offering common spaces like the ample living area on the ground floor and the outside dining spaces.

Located on the Ground Floor, 4 persons and 95 sqm, it is composed of an ample living room, fireplace, television and telephone; well equipped kitchen with an electric oven, fridge, dishwasher; dining room with a table seating 8/10
people; 1 master bedroom with private bathroom with bath tub, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and bathroom with
shower; laundry area with washing machine and independent heating for the apartment. Outside patio includes a table seating 8/10 people with an antique wood oven that also works as a barbeque.

equipped kitchen with an electric oven, fridge, dishwasher; dining room with fireplace and a table seating 8 people, 1 master bedroom with private bathroom with bath tub, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds; bathroom with bathtub; laundry area with washing machine and independent heating for the apartment. The apartment is accessed through a beautiful loggia that offers the ideal place to have breakfast and enjoy the panoramic view of the wonderful Tuscan countryside. Outside of the apartment is located a barbeque pit an exterior table seating 6/8 people.
