La Fonte di Salcio is a small holiday paradise consisting of a collection of individual houses. It lies about half a kilometre from the village, amongst olive groves.Each house has its own garden area, and shared use of the swimming pool.
The first house was Casetta di Momo, which was renovated and let for holidays by Angela and Paolo when they inherited the property from their ‘Zio Momo’. This pretty house is built on an incline so although on two floors all rooms are accessible from the outside. The newly planted olive grove reaches to the terrace, which runs along two sides of the house and is covered by a porticato. On the rear, in front of the door is a small seating area, like an extra living room. The entrance door is part-glazed so the view can be enjoyed from inside. The room is split by a staircase, on the one side the lounge area with open fire, and comfortable single sofabed and satellite TV. On the other side is the kitchen/dining area, with old traditional furniture. The stairs lead directly into an openplan bedroom with access to the upper terrace, through here is the second bedroom and bathroom.
