This typical Tuscan-styled agritourism farmhouse is charming and dates back to the 15th century. It is located in one of the most beautiful hamlets of Italy, Preggio, which is near Cortona. The position is particularly quiet and relaxing with a panoramic view.
The farmhouse can be a good holiday point from which to visit the art cities and historical hamlets of Tuscany and Umbria. The house is surrounded by large parkland and ancient olive groves and is completely fenced. The house itself has a total area of 180msq over 2 levels.
Accommodation:
On the ground floor there is a lounge area with a fireplace and is furnished with a table, armchairs, satellite TV and a flat-screen TV. There are French windows which lead out onto a patio area. In the dining area there is a kitchen, which is equipped with all electric appliances necessary. There are 2 double bedrooms with two bathrooms with showers. Access to the upper floor is by an external staircase (made in local stone) with a small terrace. There is also an entrance into a second large lounge area which is furnished with a fireplace, satellite TV, flat-screen TV, sofa and armchairs. There is a dishwasher and a washing machine. There are 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers.
Garden/Outside Area:The guests have a swimming pool located in the grounds which offers stunning panoramic views size 10 x 6 by 0.90 to 1.50 cm., there is also a barbecue and a large gazebo for refreshing moments during the hot summer.
Surrounding Area: 200m from the house there is a town with: a baker, pastry shop, mini- supermarket, restaurant and pizzeria. The house, as well as being an excellent departure point to visit the hamlets and cities of art in Tuscany and Umbria, is also ideal for walks or mountain bike rides of which plenty of itineraries are available in the area.
Distances:From the farmhouse you can reach the centre of Cortona in 20 minutes by car, where you will find: ice-cream parlours, coffee shops, typical restaurants, craftsmen’s workshops, the Etruscan Museum, the Diocesan Museum and many other things the city has to offer.
